GEORGETOWN, TX (October 25, 2023 ) – The Annual “Hackers-R-Us” Charity Golf Tournament hosted by CEFCO Convenience stores and their parent company, The Fikes Companies, was held on October 23 at Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club in Georgetown, Texas. It was another record-breaking year of fundraising at the tournament, where they raised over $450,000 for The Fikes Foundation.

When founder C.E. Fikes opened the first CEFCO in 1979 with his son James, they did so with a commitment to give back to local communities. The Fikes Foundation was established in 2017 by James and his wife, Kim Fikes, to gather funds that would provide support to communities, youth, and the military through charitable causes. Mr. Fikes was passionate about helping children, both medically and educationally, so that they could have the opportunity to grow up and pursue their dreams. Events like this help The Fikes Foundation donate to organizations like the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, n. “Kim and I wish to thank our Customers, Team Members, and Business Partners who allow us to continue to give back to the communities that we live and work in,” said Raymond W. Smith, President of The Fikes Companies.
