Joining CEFCO Rewards is free!

Use the Mobile App:

  1. Download the CEFCO App from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Open the app.
  3. Enter your cellphone number; you’ll receive a text message with a link to sign up.
  4. Follow the link, enter your name, email, and birthdate to complete your profile.

At Your Local CEFCO:

  • In-Store: Click the “Loyalty ID” on the pin pad at the counter and type in your phone number.
  • At the pump: Click “Join Rewards” on the pump screen and type in your cellphone number under “Loyalty ID” before you transact.

Make sure to download the app to complete your profile and get rewards!

  • Download the App/Sign Up: +150 points.
  • Complete Your Profile: A free fountain drink/coffee.
  • In-Store Purchases: +10 points per dollar spent on eligible merchandise (excludes lottery). Enter your cellphone number at checkout.
  • Fuel Purchases: +5 points per gallon of fuel pumped. Enter your cellphone number at the pump before you transact.

Redeem points for $3, $5, $10, $15, or $20 off at the pump or in-store. Use the ‘Burn Em’ tab in the app to select your reward. Rewards cannot be redeemed on age-restricted items like beer, wine, tobacco, or lottery tickets.

  1. Open the CEFCO app.
  2. Go to the ‘Burn Em’ tab.
  3. Select the reward you want (In-Store Merchandise or Fuel).
  4. Confirm the redemption by tapping “Confirm.”
  5. Refresh your “Account” screen to see the "Ready to Use Reward."

Rewards expire 7 days after redemption. Once a reward is selected, it cannot be reversed.

  • In-Store Purchases: Enter your cellphone number at checkout.
  • Fuel Purchases: Enter your phone number at the pump before you transact.
  • Pre-Pay for Fuel in Store: Enter your cellphone number at checkout. Note: Fuel rewards apply as reimbursement. Depending on your bank, it can take 1-5 business days for the final charge to be processed.

You can use cash on in-store merchandise rewards, but NOT on fuel rewards.

When you pre-pay inside for fuel, it can take 1-5 business days for the final charge to be processed. If you paid at the pump, the discounted amount will not display on the pump screen, but can be viewed on the printed paper receipt or the digital receipt within the app.

To view the digital receipt within the app to see the discounted total:

  • Open the CEFCO app.
  • Click on your points.
  • On the right side, click "Loyalty Transactions."
  • Find the date of your transaction and click it to see transaction details. This will show the final discounted charge which is reflected in your bank account within 1-5 business days.

Please also ensure:

  • Your mobile phone number was entered correctly.
  • You entered your mobile phone number before entering your form of payment.
  • There were no age-restricted items in your transaction.
  • The transaction amount was equal to or larger than the reward.
  • Only one reward was used per transaction.
  • The reward did not expire (expires 7 days after redemption).

Check your blocked/spam contact list to ensure your device has not accidentally blocked the CEFCO number (27640).

Android Device:

  • Android devices often automatically send CEFCO texts messages to spam. To check if the texts are going to spam:
  • Open Text messages.
  • Look for a Search Bar at the top right-hand corner.
  • Type the number 27640.
  • You should see a prompt to remove this number from spam.

iPhone/Apple Device:

  • Go to Settings > Scroll up to reveal a Search Bar at the top of the screen > Type the word 'Blocked' > Click on "Blocked Contacts" at the bottom of the screen > Scroll down again > Click blocked contacts.
  • If you see the number 27640 on that list, click 'Edit' on the top right-hand corner > Click on the red 'minus' sign next to the number > Hit unblock.

If the following troubleshooting steps do not work, we recommend contacting your mobile carrier for further assistance with this matter. They will be able to investigate any potential issues with your device or network.

Email us with your original mobile phone number and the new phone number.

Points expire after 90 days of complete account inactivity. Once points expire, they cannot be added back to your account. A warning text message is sent 7 days prior to point expirations to ensure you have time to use your points before they expire.

Submit a photocopy of your receipt via email. Points will not be added without a physical copy of the receipt.

Receipts cannot be uploaded into the CEFCO Rewards app. Please email rewards@cefcostores.com and provide a photocopy of the receipt.

Check that you are typing in the correct phone number. Ensure you are typing in your number before each of your transactions. It is likely that your cellphone is blocking the text messages that confirm you are receiving points after each transaction.
