CEFCO Convenience Stores announced today that $406,284 was donated to Children’s Miracle Network in result of their 19th year of fundraising for the organization. The total donation will be allocated to 15 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the 7 states in which CEFCO operates.
CEFCO began a committed partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN) in 1999, with balloon sales totaling just $700. In the years since, over $4.45 million has been raised to assist CMN in providing charitable care, purchase life-saving equipment, and fund research and education programs that save and improve the lives of 17 million children each year.
“Children’s Miracle Network is very close to our heart here at CEFCO” said Kessler Pamplin, Brand Manager. “We have so many team members who have been personally impacted by their local CMN hospital. Every dollar raised by our stores is kept in our local communities. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network in 2019 as we begin fundraising for our 20th year.”
“This very generous donation will help us to expand our emergency department so that we will be able to better serve the children and families of our community. We are so grateful for the continued support of McLane Children’s that has been provided by CEFCO,” commented John L. Boyd, III, MD, MBA, CPE | President and Chief Medical Officer.
CEFCO operates over 210 locations in 7 states.
